Sixteenth century house altered in 1800 where Enric Prat de la Riba (1870-1917), founder of the Regionalist League and first president of the Catalonian Community, was born and died. It conserves the original furniture and decoration, typical of a wealthy country house of the early twentieth century. The visit includes the kitchen, where the family gathered, the dining room, reserved for special occasions, the rooms and the politician’s study. Along the visit, audiovisuals remind us of his biography and his drive, and his collaborators’, to modernize Catalonia.
