House Canals was the residence of the family of the same name and has been documented since 1802. The building consists of three floors: the lower and upper were assigned to the service while the second floor was fitted out as family residence. The vast majority of architectural and ornamental elements of this main floor are dated from the mid-nineteenth century, at which time the Canals family became related to the powerful Castellarnau family. It conserves the furniture, various articles and original decorative elements in some of the rooms, dating from the eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
