Monday to Friday: morning and afternoon. Saturday and public holidays: morning.

Seventeenth century house where Francisco de Quevedo lived between 1610 and 1645. There he wrote most of his work and, as Lord of Villa de Torre de Juan Abad and later as Royal Secretary, dealt with State matters and met with the most influential people on the politics and society of that time. The Museum doesn’t have rooms dedicated to the writer’s domestic life, but it conserves his last will and testament, his inkwell, his armchair and handwritten documents and autographs; as well as his family’s archive of approximately 1250 documents. It constitutes the biggest private library dedicated to Francisco de Quevedo.
