Sixteenth century farmhouse. It belonged to the noble family Martínez Zarco de Morales, one of whom, Doña Ana, is said to have been the inspiration for Cervantes’ character Dulcinea. It conserves part of the original structure. On the ground floor, a hall gives access to the service’s rooms: kitchen, pantry, courtyards and farmyards where an “almazara” (oil-mill) is preserved, a grape press and the dovecote. The upper floor encloses the main room, the anteroom (furnished with chests, wardrobes and a reproduction of the bathroom) and the bedrooms.
