The house was built in the early sixteenth century by the Pisa family, and in it San Juan de Dios passed away in 1550. The purpose of the Museum is to spread the knowledge and preserve the heritage of the Brother Hospitallers of St. John of God Order .The collection of paintings, engravings, gold and silver articles, ivories, furniture and porcelains is one of the most important of sacred art in Andalucia. Some of the rooms, such as the hallway, galleries and foyer, recreate the atmosphere of the sixteenth century palace.
